Support via Amazon
To provide our classroom with common art supplies, we are making a donation wish list available through Amazon:
Just as you would purchase items for yourself, you may choose an item or items from the list and place them in your Amazon shopping cart. When checking out, there will be an option to ship the items directly to the Guild.
If you are an Amazon Prime member, many purchases will have free shipping. We will be adding and deleting wish list items as needs change.
Please give the list a visit and share it via social media or with your friends.
Did you know that you can select a nonprofit or charity of your choice and have .5% of all Amazon purchases donated to the organization? The Guild is now one of those organizations!
It just takes two steps to contribute via your purchases:
1) To sign up, click on the AmazonSmile image to the right, and select the Hanover Area Arts Guild as your charity.
2) Instead of going to the regular amazon.com address to buy items, go to:
Bookmark that page, and do your shopping from there!
This web address is still Amazon's site, still just as secure, but purchases from this web address will now automatically send the percentage contribution to the Guild's account.
There are no additional costs for the shopper or to the Guild.
Donate to Our Scholarship Fund
The Hanover Area Arts Guild awards a scholarship each year to a graduating high school senior with plans to pursue post-secondary education in an art-related field of study. Students must attend one of the local high schools that partner with us in our annual School Student Exhibit to be eligible for the award. To choose the award winner, one panel of Guild members evaluates applicants’ portfolios, and another group evaluates essays submitted with the application.
The Guild has been awarding an annual scholarship for over 40 years. For the past 25 years, the Guild has been able to give the winner $1000. However, considering the continually increasing costs of tuition and art supplies, the Guild would like to provide more. The Guild believes it is an essential part of our mission to offer support and encouragement to the next generation of artists.
The scholarship is financed largely through donations; we’re hoping that you will help with a contribution to help us continue this important program. Thank you!
Give Local York
The Hanover Area Arts Guild thanks all of our Give Local York (GLY) donors! This county-wide fundraising event to support area nonprofits was a success for the Guild and the county.
Donate a Guild Gift Card to Main Street Hanover
Support the Guild and Main Street Hanover! All gift cards purchased will be donated to Main Street Hanover to be used as community prize at their events, including Second Saturdays.
When noting the problematic circumstances of dealing with the COVID-19 economic impact on cultural organizations in York County, the Cultural Alliance of York County, and its donors acted quickly to provide funding via Accelerated Operational Grants to several organizations, including the Hanover Area Arts Guild.
Through its financial investment in eight partner organizations that are essential to our cultural core and the funding of arts projects and community programs through our Creative Impact Awards, the Cultural Alliance brings the arts and culture to life in York County. Founded as a United Arts Fund in 1999, the Cultural Alliance's annual campaign has granted $10.2 million cash and more than $2 million in-kind support to grow the arts in our community.

Your donation helps to fund the costs necessary to provide artists two quality gallery spaces to display their work, and our community members the opportunity to view art at no cost throughout the year.
As a non-profit with over 50 years of service to our shared community, 100% of your donation underwrites our mission. Please join us in helping to keep the Hanover area art-filled and culturally healthy and prospering.
Supporting businesses and individuals are a vital part of our program and enjoy the same benefits as our artist members.
Bronze level supporters will have their submitted logos utilized in numerous places in print and online, receive invitations to exhibit receptions, and receive two invitations to enjoy our annual corporate reception.
Silver supporters also name an award at one of our two juried shows. Logos are added to a prominent location on our website as well as materials related to our juried shows. Four guests will enjoy our annual reception.
Gold members have named awards at both juried shows, notation as Gold supporters, are invited to participate in the presentation of awards, and may bring six guests to our annual supporter reception.
In addition, benefits include facility use or a complimentary paint night or workshop.
Van Gogh Circle
This highest level of support makes a significant positive impact on the cultural reach of our organization and the cultural resources of the community.
In addition to the benefits above, businesses or individuals in the Van Gogh Circle have a corporate-named show, as well as participation in the presentation of the top award in a juried show. Eight guests are welcomed to our annual reception.
A chart of benefits for sponsorship benefits is available here.
Questions regarding benefits or sponsorship are welcomed by our Gallery Manager, Rebecca Wiest, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
