The Hanover Area Arts Guild's Board of Directors thanks the participating artists of our Spring Show for their talents and artistic vision. As always, the over-130 works entered showcase the impressive skills of our members. Please plan on seeing the exhibit in person, and encourage your friends and fellow artists to do likewise.

The awards juror for the 2021 Spring Show is Abigail Baer, the Executive Director of the Demuth Foundation in Lancaster, PA. The Foundation manages two museums: the Demuth Museum, which preserves the historic home and studio of renowned modernist painter Charles Demuth, and the Lancaster Museum of Art, which focuses on local and regional artists. In her role, she oversees all operations at both sites, including curating exhibitions, developing programming, fundraising, and cultivating community partnerships. Before coming to Lancaster in fall 2018, Baer worked at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, MD, and Logos Academy in York, PA. She holds a Master's in Arts Administration from Goucher College in Towson, MD, and a Bachelor's in Public Relations with a minor in Art History from York College, York, PA. She has served as a juror for art exhibitions and has adjudicated grant and scholarship applications in Pennsylvania and Maryland. The Arts Guild is honored to have her serve as our juror.
