This class is for any artist or business owner looking to learn Canva for their social media. Topics will include the interface, shortcuts, saving/sorting, creating reusable branded content, and best practices for text and layout. You should create a Canva account for yourself before class.

Doreen Laskiewicz is a retired music educator turned photographer and Editor-in-Chief of Grit & Goals Magazine, which highlights small businesses and inspiring women. She specializes in portrait, branding, dance, seniors, and lifestyle photography, combining creativity with technical expertise.

Doreen Laskiewicz is a dynamic individual with a rich tapestry of experiences.  Her teaching journey began in the realm of music, where she not only nurtured young minds but also fostered a lover for the arts.  Her later pivot to include STEM subjects allowed her to inspire students in new ways.  Doreen’s wealth of knowledge in education offers a unique perspective on the challenges and triumphs of teaching in diverse subject areas.
