Mainly self-taught, Leonard also took some design courses at Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC.  Along with exhibiting here at the gallery from time to time, he also exhibits through the Baltimore Watercolor Society.

He is also a retired Art Director at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, DC, where he worked on stamps, currency and securities Design.  He now currently resides in Hanover, PA.
