Andrew Smith lives outside of Hanover, Pennsylvania, his hometown. He has exhibited at arts guilds, juried shows and a solo photography exhibit at the Adams County Arts Council in Gettysburg. He is a member of the Hanover Area Arts Guild, Creative York, the Yorktown Craft Guild, and the Adams County Arts Council.
Andy opened the Visual Realia Studio in Gettysburg in February of 2019 following a 32 year career as a music teacher. The studio focuses on clay monoprints, teaching, and group sessions, but also includes photography works.
He is active in promoting and supporting his community through the On the Line: Adams-Hanover project and Facebook page, as well as his local VR Photowalks series. As an outgrowth of his photographic work, he is a Google “Trusted Pro” in the use of 360 degree panoramas for both community interest and business needs.
