Exciting New Show Opens July 1

A new exhibit featuring Natasha Brooke Tipler and Susan Runkle opens on July 1 and will run through July 26. Both artists are members of the Guild and work in a variety of media.

Natasha is a multimedia artist inspired by nature and magical elements. Some of the art media she likes to dabble with includes watercolor, gouache, digital media, acrylic, colored pencil, block printing, and pyrography. Common subjects in her work are birds and insects because, she says, “their ability to fly is magical in itself, which pairs well with my overall theme. I am constantly finding ways to learn and grow as an artist and enjoying the journey along the way.”

Susan Runkle is a life-long artist from south-central Pennsylvania. She graduated from York Academy of Arts and has been in the art field for over 50 years, first working in the corporate advertising field as an illustrator/graphic designer, and later doing freelance work. Now in retirement she paints and draws for her own pleasure using acrylics, and ink & colored pencil. Susan strives to give the viewer a feeling of peace, serenity and beauty with her artwork. Her work is inspired from the hills and countryside around her and her love of the Art Nouveau & Art Deco style and art from the Golden Age of Illustration.

Come an enjoy this show which will showcase a variety of styles, content and media.
