April 1 – April 29: Imagining a Better World: The Art of Nelly Toll
Dr. Toll was a child living in World War II Poland when forced into hiding from the Nazi Holocaust. In her art, made while she was a hidden child, she imagined a better world and created nearly 60 watercolor paintings, many of which will be on display here. May 30 – June 24: Light in the Landscape: Paintings by Sharon Benner
A special showing of the art of Sharon Benner is featured this month. Also on display will be work in a variety of styles and media by members of the Hanover Area Arts Guild.
June 27 – July 29: Student Creations: Art Made in Arts Guild Classes
Students of all ages will exhibit work that was created in our classes and workshops.
June 27 – August 26: The Annual “$99 and Under” Art Sale
Arts Guild members will offer original works of art priced $99 or less. A two-month summer special!
August 29 – September 30: Trash to Treasure: Re-Purposed Objects Become Art
Old picture frames, door panels, garden tools, silverware – who knows what? Creative re-inventions of objects that might have been otherwise discarded are displayed this month.
October 3 – 28: Art by Guild Members at the Art Downtown Gallery
Art work in a variety of styles and media by members of the Hanover Area Arts Guild.
October 31 – December 2: 49th Annual Fall Show & Sale
Our members once again exhibit their newest creations and compete for awards. A Hanover tradition! There will be a reception and awards presentation on Sunday, November 5, 2-4pm. Many works in this show will remain on display throughout the holiday season.
November 24 – December 30: A Gallery of Arts and CraftsFine arts and crafts are displayed by our members for the holiday shopping season.
